Product Launch Formula Review – What It’s About

Product Launch Formula was created by Jeff Walker to help all kinds of businesses increase their sales by turning ordinarly product promotions into 'Events'. In the Product Launch Formula program, he teaches you how to use what he calls his 'sideways salesletter' to boost conventional conversion rates of around 1-2% to 5% or more.

The Big Idea inside the formula is to share a series of educational pieces of content that actually help people. Then make an offer at the end of this process that helps people go a lot further than what they learned in the free content.

There are lots of nuences of course, which Jeff covers throughout the Product Launch Formula training. So who's it for? Well there probably aren't too many businesses that couldn't use at least some of the strategies in the course. And many businesses could use the entire system to really boost sales.

Even services businesses such as plumbers, carpet cleaners and accountants could use variations of the Seed Launch and Quick Launch to build buzz around their businesses  and show whey they are the best choice for potential customers.

And of course, every business can use what's taught in Module 6 - The Evergreen Launch (more details below), which shows you how create a perpetual launch sequence that gets new customers entering your sales funnel and turns them into long-term customers.

Product Launch Formula Review – What We Like

There are a lot of things to like about Product Launch Formula.
  • In Module 1, you'll learn the Product Launch Formula Core Strategies and Tactics, create your Launch Foundation, and get an Introduction to JV's
  • Module 2 takes you through The Quick Launch and Pre-Launch, some common launch mistakes, and Jeff's Business Launch Formula which shows you how to build a 6 or 7 figure business from your first internal launch.
  • Module 3 covers Creating Your Launch Story,, creating your Prelaunch Content, and The Seed Launch, which is where you do a small launch to just a small list to test your system and generate an initial burst of sales. You can use the profits from the Seed Launch to fund your product development, or purchase more stock. Then you can roll out your Internal launch and big JV Launch knowing what kind of results you should expect.
  • In Module 4, Jeff's Product launch Formula covers Launch List Secrets, Planning Your Launch Content, Joint Ventures in detail, and a bunch of extra goodies which include a lesson on how to protect your health during a launch and a case study interview with John Gallagher.
  • Module 5 covers The Actual Launch Process, the Affiliate Launch, the eCommerce Launch, and gives you a lot more Launch Details to help you make your launches as profitable as possible.
  • Module 6 covers the most profitable Product launch Formula, which is The Evergreen Launch. This allows you to build your launch system once, and then run it continuously, meaning you can make money from the launch content you created over and over again.
  • You also get monthly PLF Coaching Calls where Jeff answers all of your questions, and a PLF Live Event where you can rub shoulders with other Product Launch Formula owners, network, and get new ideas on how to make more money in your business.
I've had Product Launch Formula since around 2006, and the very first internal launch I did (which was really just a test to a few hundred people) earned me double the price I'd paid for the product. Having used it over and over again, it's  proven to be just as effective now as it was when it was first launched.

And I love the way Jeff gives existing customers free access to the latest version of PLF whenever he makes an update. And he regularly sends out bonus videos and reports as well, which is great.

His customer service has always been first class, and my questions have been answered quickly by intelligent people who can actually help you.

Product Launch Formula Review – What We Didn’t Like

This wouldn't be a very good Product Launch Formula Review if I didn't point out the things I don't like. Most obviously, the program isn't cheap. That means that lots of people who could really benefit from the training will be locked out.

That's not to say PLF isn't worth the money. As I mentioned earlier, I paid for the course twice over within a few weeks with my first launch, so it's certainly great value.

And here's a big tip. If you wait until mid-way through the launch, you'll get an option for a longer term payment plan, so you can spread the payments out over several months. That means it's much more affordable, since you can start using what you learn and make some product sales before you have to pay the full amount.

Another thing is there's a lot of content to go through, and that means it might be easy for some people to get overwhelmed. Even though Jeff 'drips' the content out over a few weeks, you have to stay on top of it or you'll fall behind.

So that means if you aren't really serious about USING what you learn in Product Launch Formula, it's probably best not to spend the money. But if you are ready to try a better approach to making sales, that could make you 5 or 10 times your initial investment fairly quickly, then PLF could be perfect for you.

And finally, Jeff takes the product off the market after each launch, so you only have limited opportunities to get your hands on it. While that does make it exclusive, it sucks for people who want to launch a product this week...

Product Launch Formula Review – Overall Thoughts

All in all, Product Launch Formula is a first class training program that delivers on it's promise of helping virtually any business owner to increase their sales. Since you can't just go out and buy Product Launch Formula any old time, it's probably a good idea to visit Jeff's site and get on his waiting list. That way he'll let you know when he's opening up for new members again.

You won't be obligated to buy, but you'll get a bunch of great pre-launch training that you can use to make more sales in your business, even if you don't buy PLF for yourself.

I hope you've found this Product Launch Formula Review helpful.

Building A Powerful Brand

In this Product Launch Formula Review article, we're going to look at what branding really means for your business mean, and what you can do to enhance the markets perception of you and what you stand for.

Well the truth is a brand is very likely the heart and soul of a business. It consists of a combination of the business's name, your logo and the design of your storefront, and the personality your business portrays to the world. Building a brand is what will make you and your business stand out from your competitors.

Your business's branding will help you position yourself as a trusted source of products, services and advice more quickly than if you don't brand yourself at all. And that is especially so if you use Product Launch Formula to attract more people into your business from all of the related businesses around you.

If you don't have a memorable brand, you can find your customers don't remember you or your business name when it comes time for them to buy a product or service in your category.

3 Steps for Building Your Memorable Brand

1. Building a memorable brand starts by creating a great, catchy name for your business. Try to develop a name that tells people what you do and is easy to remember. Look forward 10 years to the time when you want to sell your business.

If your business has a good name that people can identify with, it's going to be much easier to transfer that over to a new owner. You're looking for a name that helps you stand out from your local and regional competitors, so you don't blend in with everybody else's advertising messages people are getting bombarded with every day.

2. When it comes to your Logo and Design, here are two main concepts to consider when building a brand. You can choose from either text-based or symbol-based, or even use a combination of the two. Symbols are a lot easier to remember than words, so on balance this is a better option.

Find a graphic designer who comes recommended by people you trust, and who can translate the personality of you and your business into a design you like.

3. Your Brand Reflects You: A unique personality is what makes a company stand out from the crowd. People will want to associate a face with the business they are dealing with, and naturally that face would be the owner's.

If you have a good personality and treat people with respect, then they'll view your brand positively.

Expanding Your Brand

Once you've created a name for yourself, and a catchy design people can identify right away, and a personality people are attracted to, you have built a solid brand and it is time to expand your reach.

Getting involved in social media by, using a Facebook Fanpage or by interacting with people on Twitter, is a great way to build loyalty.

You can connect with your customers through Social Media much more easily than you ever could using traditional advertising.

You can use this new media to give advice and guidance to people who are looking for solutions to problems, and help them to choose you when they are ready to buy.

How To Fix Your Email Marketing

In this Product Launch Formula Review article, we're going to look into other ways you can use email marketing to grow your business.

Whether or not you are already taking advantage of email marketing to expand your business or are simply looking at the possibility, it is important to bear in mind that despite our best efforts, sometimes email promos just don't work.

This means you email campaign will either not bring in the degree of success you'd homed for or may not generate any sales at all.

This failure to make a profit may be because of a range of reasons. Some of them may be a lack of interest in your intended market, failing to correctly implement your email marketing strategy, or poor planning on you part.

Some Reasons For Poor Results

To start with we will look at why a lack of interest from your target audience can lead to a failed email campaign. Before committing time, energy and money into any type of marketing campaign, it's worthwhile to enlist the services of a consultant to carry out market analysis.

This research should provide useful feedback such as demographics for the target market and information on the likelihood these customers will be receptive to email marketing.

This last piece of information in particular should help you to determine whether or not email marketing is a viable advertising option for your business. If market research indicates the members of your target audience are not likely to purchase the products or services you offer online, or even use the Internet to research these products or services, investing in an email marketing campaign is not worthwhile.

You may experience a small amount of success through your marketing campaigns, but it's not really likely to be meaningful enough to warrant the time and work required to achieve this small level of success. If it's not worthwhile doing a thing, it's best to find out before you waste any time.

So You Have A Marketing Plan

Another way your email marketing campaigns can end in failure is the inability to successfully perform your marketing plan. This is very important because even the most well formulated marketing strategy can fail if you are unable to properly carry it out.

For instance, you may set out to use a newsletter as a vital component of your promotion, but if these newsletters don't appear to be properly designed and written, commonly arrive too late and don't provide useful information, subscribers are not very likely to invest in your products or services after reading them.

In each part of your email promotion, you should really strive to ensure the info you provide to your email subscribers is accurate, interesting and informative. This kind of content is a lot more likely to pique the curiosity of your subscribers.

Beware Of Poor Planning

Finally, poor planning can cause an email marketing campaign to fail. For example, if you were to issue a component of your email marketing campaign hoping to generate a huge interest in your products and receive a great deal of interest, you should be prepared to be able to sell your products.

Not having enough stock on hand after you run a marketing campaign can be a critical mistake because potential customers may lose interest if they have to wait for the products.

This is just one example of poor planning causing problems, but poor planning can cause a host of different problems including potential customers losing interesting, the creation of confusion regarding your products and services and even potential customers being angered by your email marketing.

Using Product Launch Formula can seriously help you grow your business quickly because it taps into a bunch of emotional buying triggers and helps you sell to many more people than simply writing email messages and hoping for the best.
