Site Build It Review – What It’s About

Site Build It is a website building and content management product that's been around for over a decade. In this Site Build It Review, you'll get to hear about the good and the bad sides to this product, so you can make an informed decision.

What We Like

But it's not all beer and skittles. And frankly, there's a lot of businesses that Site Build It is totally wrong for. In this Site Build It Review, you'll get both sides of the story.

Frankly, when I ordered my first Site Build It a decade ago, I was a little sceptical. But the thing had a money back guarantee, so I gave it a shot.

It took me a while to get the hang of building a website because I was so new and totally clueless, but eventually I worked it out.

Once you get the hang of it, it's fairly simple to use for most people.

Some of the things that make it good for beginners and non-tech people are:

A simple user interface (called a Block Builder) that makes it easy to put pages together for anyone regardless of their technical skill level
Easy to use tools that help you build web pages that can rank well in Google and other search engines so you can get found online
A basic newsletter module that allows you to send messages to people who subscribe to your list. It's not as good as an Aweber autoresponder, but it's OK to get you started
A stand alone keyword tool that helps you to find the keywords you should be trying to rank for to make more sales
Incredibly well sorted documentation and training videos refined over 10 years that walk you through their 10 step site building process
An active user forum with 10's of thousands of posts and lots of people you can ask for advice if you get stuck
Good customer support staff who speak English and can help you sort out most problems (more on this later)
A 90 Day Guarantee so you have plenty of time to try out the Site Build It system before you have to decide if it's for you

For years I was totally 'sold' on Site Build It. But that was because I didn't know any better, and over the last few years there's been a number of cracks appearing in the facade of the system.

It still have a lot of users, but it seems to be that's because there's a group of top affiliates who are really good at marketing.

They don't tend to point out the flaws in the system. At least that's been my experience.

And that causes a lot of people to waste precious time and energy building websites that have no chance of ever making them any money.

But if your heart's set on using SBI, then you can certainly go and grab it here and see for yourself.

However there's another, unhappy side to the Site Build It story...

What We Didn’t Like

No Site Build It Review would be complete without mentioning the things I didn't like.

And there are a few...

The elephant in the room is the cost, so let's get that out of the way first.

At $299 a year or around $30 a month, Site Build It is priced at the very high end when it comes to website building tools. Sure it's got a lot of features, but as a SBI owner who's built several sites with it, I've never used most of them, and actively avoided others.

And you might feel the same way.

Compared to using something like a NameCheap domain name and Hostgator hosting, it's pretty expensive.

Especially when you consider you can have a Hostgator account that allows you to have unlimited domains in it (I've got 51 in mine) for just over $12 a month. With Site Build It, you only get one website...

It has a pretty good keyword tool, but I've always used other keyword tools, and my own brain, to work out what to build pages around.

And if you're serious, you'll want to get a dedicated autoresponder account from somebody like Aweber.

One good thing is they give you a 90 day guarantee so you have plenty of time to decide if it's for you or not.

Overall, I'd have to give Site Build It just a 7 out of 10. It's ideal for you if you are just getting started and would like step by step guidance on building your website without needing to know any complicated code or stuff like that .;
